Four years into their story, Greyscale Records have grown in leaps and bounds beyond even their own expectations; and today they look to cement their place in the international scene by welcoming Japan’s most exciting upcoming metalcore act Paledusk to the family, and releasing the wildly creative video for the title track to their most recent EP Happy Talk that is out now!

Hailing from Fukuoka on the Japanese island of Kyushu, Paledusk stormed onto everyone’s radar early in 2020 with the four track EP Happy Talk, which combined elements of metalcore, industrial, nu-metal, and EDM in a way that hasn’t been seen in a long time. Over the last few years Paledusk have developed strong ties to the Australian heavy music scene, having supported fellow label mates Alpha Wolf, as well as Polaris and The Amity Affliction on multiple Japanese tours with each act sharing glowing reviews of Paledusk as the next big thing in the Japanese heavy scene. The band have garnished themselves both a sound and style that is truly unique, and while Happy Talk is still fresh in their fan’s hearts, the band says new music is coming sooner than you think.
“No Pain. No Gain.” No Way!

This signing begins the exciting next chapter in the Greyscale Records family. Together with Paledusk they have their eyes set on the global horizon. “We’re over the moon to have Paledusk join the Greyscale records family. It’s always been a huge goal for Greyscale to branch out of the Australian music scene and for the first international artist to be from Japan is huge honour for us. The music scene over there is ahead of the game and we are excited to join Paledusk on their journey to help them get the global recognition that they deserve.”

And from the band themselves, vocalist Kaito sums up that they couldn’t be more excited for the future. “Hi,there!!
This is Kaito from Paledusk!!
We’re so happy to be a part of Greyscale Records family!!
And we’re so excited to make new history of us with you guys!!
See you all soon!!
Arigato!!”
